🇲🇦🤝🇪🇸 MOROCCO, AGREEMENT WITH SPAIN TO FACILITATE DIGITAL NOMAD RESIDENCY 💻🌍
By: Antonio Villena
Can a CEO 👔 obtain a Digital Nomad residency permit 💻✈️ in Spain 🇪🇸 if they are not a majority shareholder?
In our new video 🎥, Antonio Villena answers a real client question:
A Moroccan client 🇲🇦 works as a CEO in a company 🏢 but does not own 50% of the shares 📉. Can they still apply for the Digital Nomad residence in Spain?
✅ Yes, and the path is clear.
The only requirement is that the company’s shareholders’ meeting 👥 formally authorizes them to relocate and work from Spain 🛫. This decision must be recorded in an extraordinary shareholders’ resolution 📄 specifying their salary 💶, position, and authorization to work from Spanish territory.
In addition, since they are already registered with Moroccan Social Security 🧾 —and thanks to the bilateral agreement 🤝 between Morocco and Spain— there is no need for the company to have a branch in Spain or for them to re-register with Spanish Social Security.
With this documentation 📑, the process is possible and can be completed without major obstacles 🚀.
