🔎 What can you do if Immigration or the Consulate asks you for a document 📄 that you can’t provide?
It’s a more common situation than it seems 🤔. When Immigration, the Consulate, or the Ministry 🏛️ requests a document that’s difficult to obtain, the first step is to understand why they’re asking for it 💭.
That reason may allow you to replace it with another document 📑 or submit an explanation ✍️ detailing why it’s impossible to obtain 🚫.
If there’s still no possible alternative ⚖️, Spanish law 🇪🇸 recognizes the presumption of truthfulness ✅: if you reasonably and properly document 📚 the impossibility of providing the requested document, the Administration must accept your explanation 🙌.
The key point is to argue your case correctly 🧠 and justify it properly 📌. In many cases, this knowledge makes the difference between an approved ✅ or a rejected ❌ application.
On our channel 📺 you’ll find more practical tips 💡 on how to respond to Immigration requests and how to submit your documentation correctly 📂.
