What to do when the bank blocks my bank account?
By: Antonio Villena
What to do if the bank blocks your bank account after a deposit.
We solve a recurrent doubt of our customers to unblock a bank account that has been temporarily blocked by an entity.
Table of contents:
1. Update your bank account status
To avoid the bank blocking a bank account, it is very important to keep your bank account up to date. To do so, you must inform the bank once a year of the status of your financial resources, movements, declarations, etc. In other words, keep your account up to date.
It is essential to always have a valid justification for the bank in case of a considerable deposit on our bank account.
2.Do they keep my money if they block my bank account?
No, the bank does not keep anyone’s money if your account is blocked. It is a preventive measure to ask the account owner for an explanation.
In order to avoid future difficulties, we recommend that you prepare these explanations or justifications of the account movements.
3. What if my account was blocked after I made a deposit?
It is possible that the transfer was due to a loan we gave to a friend or relative and that he/she is in the process of repaying it. But we must always have proof of where the money came from.
These bank transfers, moreover, must come from personal accounts, never from company accounts.
In the attached video, Antonio Villena himself explains in detail the answers you need to give to the bank in case your account is blocked. Don’t miss it to know how to act at any time!
