The September 27, 2013 has been published and enacted Law 14/2013 on support for entrepreneurs and internationalization, which regulates new ways to acquire residence in Spain and Europe (Territory Schengen) for different reasons.

This time we will try for the purchase of a home or the purchase of several homes or real estate in the amount equal to or greater than 500,000 €.

BENEFITS

Obtaining of Residence Card en Europe for purchase of property in Spain permit the foreign investor may reside in Spain and around Europe ( Schengen area ), the first release would be for two years, the second for another two, and five years since being granted residency obtained permanent residence which is not subject to any requirement.

– For home purchase, it is only necessary to have the NIE. It is mandatory to hold a bank account in Spain, although it is recommended.

– Other common requirements such as: No irregularly found in Spain, be over 18 years, have no criminal record and have health insurance.
