VISA APPLICATION CAN I CHANGE CONSULATES?
By: Antonio Villena
🤔 There are no appointments available at the consulate that corresponds to me, can I change consulate to apply for a national visa?
In principle, you are obliged to submit the documents at the consulate that corresponds to you by consular demarcation, i.e. the consulate that corresponds to you by residency, where you live.
You can change consulate to submit your visa application as long as you change the address on your ID card and passport. However, be careful! Consulates are cautious, and it is essential to be prepared in case they ask for additional documentation. 🤔
